🎧 Welcome to the Collective 🎧

We believe that feminism isn’t feminism unless it’s intersectional, transformative, and collaborative.

Intersectional

Centering people at the margins & acknowledging how identity shapes lived experience.

Transformative

Dismantling the systems that create inequity, not just helping individuals “get theirs.”

Collaborative

Bolstering community, not competition, because we’re stronger together.

“The Feminist Podcasters Collective is the one community space I’ve joined in ten years of business that is truly reciprocal and supportive of growth. There is absolutely no gatekeeping here. It’s an essential space where high-value podcasters actively lift one another up.”

What Makes Us Different

Podcasting was supposed to democratize media so that anyone with a mic could be heard. But it’s been swallowed up by corporations and celebrity platforms. The Feminist Podcasters Collective is here to help voices at the margin by providing valuable resources and community.

Our Approach
  • Values First: We care more about liberation than leaderboard rankings.
  • Community Care: No hustle culture, no gatekeeping—just honoring capacity, sharing resources, and receiving vulnerability with care.
  • Honesty Over Hype: What works for Joe Rogan won’t work for most indies. We share what really works without endless budgets and time.
  • From Margins to Center: We don’t have to “make room” for marginalized perspectives; they’re the heart of our community.

The Feminist Podcasters Collective is a space for creatives who care more about impact than follower counts — and who believe doing this work together makes it more joyful (and sustainable).

If you’re craving connection with other values-driven creators doing this wild podcasting thing on their own terms, this is your sign.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still on the fence? We’ve got answers.

If you host an independent podcast with a social justice, feminist, or equity lens — and you’re looking for community, strategy support, and collaboration with like-minded creators — yes. We’re not the right fit for everyone, and that’s intentional. Our application process exists to make sure the space stays values-aligned and genuinely useful for the people in it.

We have Access Grants for members facing financial hardship — full membership at $0–$5/month, funded by our Sponsor members. There’s no income verification, no hoops to jump through. If it would make a meaningful difference for you, just apply for a grant. No shame, no judgment.

It means we review every application to make sure there’s a good fit — for you and for the community. We’re not trying to be exclusive; we’re trying to be intentional. Most people who apply and share a genuine alignment with our values are accepted.

No — but members commit to attending at least one event per month and taking meaningful actions to support other members. If life gets busy, you can pause your membership rather than cancel. We’d rather you take a break and come back than disappear and feel guilty about it.

You’re welcome here at any stage. We’ve had members join before their show even launched, using the community to learn, prepare, and build relationships before their first episode. And many of our members have been podcasting for 2+ years and still find real value in the strategy support, guest connections, and community. What matters more than experience level is your values and your willingness to show up for others.
